Overview

Power line carrier communication modem is an OEM module which carries data on a conductor used for electric power transmission – i.e the AC lines. PLCC offers a “no new wires” solution because the infrastructure is already established. This module can be integrated into and become part of the user's system. A pair of these Modems connected on the same phase and neutral line of the power network can provide bidirectional data communication at a baud rate up to 2400 bps. The PLCC modem is built around the M16C/6S MCU from Renesas Technology. It is a simple modem around which a host of applications can be built. The unit can be easily integrated into other systems to successfully transmit data over the power lines.

Overview

ProActive is an identity tag capable of communication over greater distances of about 100 meters when compared to the passive / semi-passive tags which have a range of a few feet. The Active RFID tag is used for identification / tagging of an asset. Several solutions are built around identification of a specific Asset.

GPS CLOCK
  Overview

Synchronized accurate time is required for synchronized operations. The earlier methods for synchronizations were signaling methods which were manual and hence prone to error. The GPS clock is built to display accurate time which is received by the GPS receiver from the satellite system. The typical issues of having to place the clock at a place where the GPS signal is available is avoided here by having an RF link between the GPS receiver and the Display unit. Hence while the GPS receiver can be placed to pick up the satellite signals , the display units can be placed anywhere within a radius of 1km line of sight.

Multiple clock displays can be within an area of 1KM line of sight of the clock transmitter. Unlike other GPS clock systems which require have a GPS receiver in each clock, which will require visibility to the sky, our system employs s single clock transmitter which connects to a GPS receiver which has to be exposed to the sky. Any number of Clock displays can be fitted into a radius of 1KM line of sight.
